Meet our pastors

 Pastor Harry T. McCain is the Senior Pastor of New Direction Christian Center (NDCC) in  Miami Lakes, Florida. He is an anointed and dynamic teacher and speaker who is wellknown for his candid, yet insightful, and humorous teaching style of God's Word. Pastor Harry is a fourth-generation pastor, who continually motivates people to be Christ centered by engendering their desire to understand and know the Word of God. Along with being the Director of Operations of NDCC Kingdom Ministries, he is very much involved with the "Brothers to Brothers" men's ministry. It is a Christian social ministry for men, designed to  encourage and equip men of all races, to develop strong marital relationships, family ties, friendships, and a growing relationship with God. Commissioned by the Spirit to advance the Kingdom's agenda, Pastor Harry fulfills this mandate with a charge to equip leaders, transform lives, and win souls. 

First Lady, Pastor Harriet L. McCain is a very diverse individual. She is a powerful preacher, exhorter, and motivational speaker. She illustrates and delivers a unique style of teaching out of present day living, while providing documented evidence from the Word of God. Currently, the First Lady serves as Co-Director of Operations, and oversees the shepherding pastor, and the various Kingdom Outreach Ministries within the church. She is also coordinator of the women's ministry called "Sisters" (a Christian social ministry for women). It is her heart's desire to see women empowered and equipped for ministry as virtuous leading ladies in the Kingdom. As the First Lady, a mother, and a Woman of God, who comes from a family of Pastors and Ministers, she enjoys sharing and encouraging her family, church members, her community, and with everyone she meets…“THE LOVE OF GOD”. 

Pastors Harry and Harriet are blessed with two wonderful adult children, and their beautiful granddaughters, who also serve with them in ministry. Pastors Harry and Harriet are natives of Ohio, and under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, founded New Direction Christian Center (NDCC) located in Miami Lakes, Florida and Disciples of Christ Prison Ministry (one of the largest prison ministries in the country, with over 100 volunteers serving a number of correctional facilities in the Miami-Dade and Broward County areas). Faithfully they have implemented, organized, and are overseers of over 30 ministries operating under NDCC. Together, the McCain’s have been in ministry for 25 years, and in their personal endeavors, have been successfully established entrepreneurs for many years. 

 Pastor Joann R. Smith is our shepherding pastor and has served our ministry and South Florida communities as a pastor, chaplain, advocate and businesswoman for over 20 years

 Pastor Mike Pelletier is our administrative pastor and operations overseer of over 30 ministries. He has served in ministry and the South Florida communities as a pastor and businessman for over 25 years
